It is becoming a waiting game now that we have all the forms filled out and all the certifications that we can get, so now we have to wait for everyone else.  We got our Passports today.  That was much faster than we expected.  Now we can leave the country, hopefully they will let us back in.  Becky is not happy with her passport picture. I really don’t care as long as they let us back in the country.  We also got a letter from INS telling us to go get finger printed.  That letter was a bit disturbing since we’d already gotten finger printed in late January.  We figured that it was just a form letter they send out when they get your Home Study approved from ICPC (DSS).  We called June and she had us fax her a copy of the letter and the finger printing receipt.  June agreed that it is probably just a form letter.  The up side to the finger print letter is that we now know the date that INS got our packet (February 27th, 2004) and they are apparently looking at it.  We have been told that the Atlanta INS office is trying to have a 2 week turn around time for families with no criminal history, that’s us. Now we just need my certified birth certificate from PA.  Hope that’s not the last thing we’re waiting on!!
