For those of you that either don’t know or don’t remember DTC stands for Documents to China and LID stands for Log In Date.  Both are important, they let you know where you stand while waiting for your child.  The best part is that lately China or CCAA has been speeding up things and releasing one and a half months and the cutoff date is usually the 16th.  If things go as we hope all of March and half of April will get referrals at the same time.  If things really work out the way we want we may have our referral in October and travel to China in December.  Now on the homefront our house is still a disaster.  The deck is almost complete, it’s been 90°+ and 80-100% humidity all month so cut me some slack on not finishing yet.  Once I finish the deck steps, we can call it a complete build and I’ll have pictures.  The buying of baby clothes has stopped (we were running out of room in the closet, and money).  The 12 cube bookshelf is complete and a picture is on the Baby Picture site.  We found a small but good looking Chinese (Lacebark) Elm and need to plant it by our deck to provide shade from the hot sun in the summer.  We are working on making the smallest bed room an office and freeing up space in the FROG (Finished Room Over the Garage) for a small play area.  A play area with surround sound and 48″ TV, nothing outrageous.  I think that covers the highlights for last month.  One Month down.
