Well the updates have changed. I’m going to try to do it Monthly. A lot has happened since the last update. MORGAN IS WALKING!!! That’s exciting and scary all at the same time. We baby proofed the bottom kitchen cabinets, but this kid is smart and I bet she’ll figure them out soon. I installed the latches that go on the inside of the door. I’m sure either Becky or I or our parents will probably rip one off the door before Morgan figures it out. Teething is almost over. YAHOO!!! However we are still drooling a little. Morgan has decided that the food that we eat is better than the baby slop we try to force down her throat. That has actually made our life a little easier. Now we don’t have to prepare 2 meals one for her and one for us. Hey Morgan eats Pizza. She’ll bite right off the slice. Pizza – Bread, Vegetables, Meat and Dairy, the complete meal in one bite. Lets see Morgan loves Vegetables even Okra and Asparagus. Now if she can only feed herself we’ll be golden. We recently got Morgan to fall asleep in the crib. Before we would hold her until she fell asleep then try not to wake her when we put her in the crib. I would say we were about 50% successful at that. Now it’s about a 45 seconds of screaming then she lays her head down and goes to sleep (It’s never that simple). Understand that takes finesse. We think Morgan is saying Da Da; we’re not quite sure. She is babbling more and more and I will find myself in stores narrating for her. We will hold long conversations about everything. Yesterday we went Lowe’s and we had a long conversation why we can’t play Star Wars with the fluorescent light bulbs. The people in the store thought she was cute and I was crazy. I guess that’s what Dads are for.
