1 year down on Isabelle’s DTC date.

11.jpgyear since Great Wall sent our Dossier to China for the adoption of our second daughter.  It looks like it will take another year + before we get our referral then another 2 months till we go get her in China.  At the current rate we’ll be lucky if we get to go in 2008.  The hard part is knowing that Morgan knows about it and is ready to be the Big Sister.  She’s asking questions that we just don’t have any answers to.  Hopefully soon… 

FYI we are DTC 09/08/06 and we are LID 10/09/07.  The latest referral batch was for LID 11/22/05 (these people waited 24 months from LID to Referral).  If you don’t know DTC stands for “Documents To China” and LID stands for “Log In Date”, that’s when China logs in the dossiers.  LID is the date that China uses when the release referrals.

Isabelle we’re thinking of you and can’t wait to come get you.  Hopefully next year I’ll have better news to report.
