14 months and counting

Well it’s 14 months and counting since our LID. The last referral group waited for 24 months or 724 days from LID to referral. If we use 724 days as our time frame it will be October ‘08 when we get our referral. I would still bet on the summer of ‘09 or even later. Waiting SUCKS!!!

Morgan’s “Gotcha Day” 3rd Anniversary
Filed Under Morgan | Leave a Comment
December 2nd 2004 Becky and I flew to China to adopt our daughter Morgan. 3 years ago TODAY we held her for the first time. We didn’t know what we were in for, but Morgan has changed us for the better in so many ways. Here’s to our future, I hope it just keeps getting better.
Happy Gotcha Day to all of Morgan’s April 2004 Fu sisters.

Weekend Parades
Filed Under Morgan | Leave a Comment
Saturday : We got up early and went downtown. Droped the van off at Goodyear for an oil change and tires rotated before our trip and we watched the Carolina Carillon Parade. Not bad as parades go but I don’t think we will go back next year the parade stopped and started too many times to count and it was really cold. Sunday : We went to the West Columbia/Cayce West Metro Parade at night. We had
a blast the AFG (Adoptive Families Group) was having an event there so we got to see some people that we didn’t usually get to see.
If I had to do it all over again I would have ditched the Carolina Carillon for the West Metro Parade. We’ll know better next year.
