WHY HAVEN’T THEY POSTED ANYTHING ALL MONTH…
Honestly, as I’ve said before we are really busy. MyGym got sold and we moved Morgan to a Dance/Gymnastics class at the Little Gym and are really NOT happy about it. When Becky called to get Morgan and her 3 friends signed up together she was told that they were Waaay more structured than MyGym. As it turns out the classes at the Little Gym are pure CHAOS!!! We are not happy and all attempts to let them know were dismissed. Anyway we will be going somewhere else after this class is over.
We also had Birthday’s, AFG Events and get-togethers with friends that quickly filled our calender and kept us busy. Ooo the AFG Event was cool the kids took a cooking clas and Morgan made Mac & Cheese from scratch and seasoned/cooked a chicken leg. Mmmm Good. Morgan had a really good time.
We also had to get everything ready for our Home Study Update for Isabelle . We were the ones that ended dragging everything out to the last minute and when I say last minute I mean 7 days before the I-600A expired. We sent a letter and a bunch of documents to USCIS in Charleston saying “Please don’t make me pay $800 for another I-600A”. About a day or two later I got a phone call from USCIS letting me know that we made it for the FREE renewal and when would we like to schedule out finger print time. So we set up the finger print time and I did the happy dance before I called Becky to let her know the good news so she could do the happy dance.
The day of our fingerprint appointment we drove to Charleston at 5:00 in the morning so that we could make an 8:00am appointment to have our finger prints taken. Yes, I’m the crazy one or cheap one that made the insane 8:00am appointment and decided I was too cheap to drive to Charleston the day before and get a room. As it turns out I think I made the better choice. We arrived in plenty of time and had our finger prints taken, again. Do you really think in a year and a half time my prints have changed that much. Really what are they going to find? Anyway we made it out of USCIS Charleston and we went to the Charleston Aquarium. Morgan had a blast getting to hold sea urchins, crabs and snails. Then we saw the big wall of glass where all the big fish live, sharks too. We all had a good time, but looking at all the fish made us hungry for seafood so we went to Shem Creek and ate at RB’s Seafood, Mmmmm Good stuff. If we could only get seafood like that in Columbia. Then we road over the Cooper River bridge, shopped at the outlets and then went home, Morgan crashed on the way home and slept till 7:00am the next morning. I guess we really wore her out.
