I’m trying some new plugins. One of witch is a SPAM Comment Filtering plugin. Some of the others include a Contact Form (below), a Weather Widget, a Rotating Quote Widget and a Recent Comments Widget. Oh, I guess that means that the Comment section is now OPEN!! again and I’m also allowing search engines, etc to crawl my site so you may soon be able to find us on Google, etc. Oh, and to keep things interesting here’s a picture of my beautiful daughter Morgan

Do you know about “TED”?

I got this email today from my Boss who got it from his wife who got it from someone else. I was aware of the TED Convention a year ago via an email from another friend. I ended up I forwarding that email around and my Boss was one of the recipients. He knew I was intrested in stuff like the TED Convention so I was sent this link today. I think you’ll find it very intresting:

If you like Jeff Foxworthy and short rhyming stories this is the book for you. I love to read it to Morgan at night because the stories are written so well that they just flow right out of my mouth. They are outrageous enough to keep Morgan’s attention and spawn conversation about Crazy things. Since Morgan is a girl we often look for books about girls but don’t be fooled by the cover it’s not about a boy it’s about everything. Oh and it helps that Jeff Foxworthy is a comedian so there’s a cleverness and wit.

We changed from “.us” to “.com”. What does that mean to you, well really nothing right now. If you type in the ”.us” site you be forwarded to the “.com” site automatically, however the ”.us” site will expire in July ‘09. If you haven’t changed your bookmark by July ‘09 you could have a problem since “sccreightons.us” will no longer exist. I guess what I’m telling you is to UPDATE YOUR BOOKMARK from “sccreightons.us” to “SCCREIGHTONS.COM“.

18 months and counting

Well it’s 18 months and counting since our LID. The last referral group waited for 27 months or 819 days from LID to referral. If we use 819 days as our time frame it will be January ‘09 when we get our referral. I would still bet on the summer of ‘09 or even later. Waiting still SUCKS!!!
