“Fu” decal

Now that we got our new car I had to get a new “Fu” decal.

We sold out and let Obama’s Cash for Clunkers program take care of our 1995 Ford Explorer XLT. “Sniff” We owned that SUV (we called it a truck) from day 1 to the end, 14 years and 172,104 miles we had a lot of memories and fun. I actually had a hard time parting with that vehicle that we’ve owned for 14 years. It was a part of the family just like the cats. The only difference is that we didn’t bury the truck in the yard. The truck affectionately named “Old” by my daughter has how been replaced be a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE. While getting in and out for all of us is a bit tricky the fact that we have doubled our MPG has me grinning at the gas pump. Bring on the $4 gas I’m ready. I didn’t really mean that but if it comes true I won’t be the guy driving the MONSTER SUV crying at the gas pump.
Long live our 2010 Toyota Corolla…

33 Months and Counting

Yep, we’ve been waiting for 33 months for Isabelle’s referral. If I had to guess is will be June 2011 before we hear anything. I can’t beleive it’s taking so long. I even looked up the Chinese Charicter for “Patience”.
Think of us as we wait for Morgan’s baby sister.
